Nice looking Cayman...
Location? # of owners? Clean carfax? Paintwork?

I am located in Lemont, IL which is a suburb of Chicago. I am the third owner. The Carfax is clean. I have had the car for 5 years. No paintwork has been done on the car since I have owned it. I have always stored the car in my garage. I rarely drive it in winter. The paint is in good shape. There are some small chips on the bumper cover that aren’t unusual for the age and mileage of the car.

I don't have the original window sticker. I have attached a list of the option codes for the car. I don't know how to translate these codes into the names of the optional equipment. I had a PPI done 5 years ago prior to purchasing the car. My mechanic found a few items that needed attention. The car was under warranty at the time, so, the seller took the car to a Porsche dealer and had the items repaired.

Don't know the seller, but I recently purchased an '09 PDK Cayman S with similar (SportChrono) but slightly less options (no Nav, no xenon, no full leather) and slightly more miles for a bit more $. If this was for sale earlier, I would have jumped on this one!
One thing I will mention (as I went thru this with my car) is that the "cert of authenticity" from Porsche was incorrect. I took a quick look at the VIN for this car and it will be the same issue. The VIN indicates that the car has an M97 engine and not the 9a1. I found this out after I purchased the car. After some research online (9a1 does not mate up to a PDK transmission) and physically getting under the car to look at the engine number I can confirm my '09 Cayman has a 9a1 engine in it. Not sure why the VIN indicates it's an M97.
OP good luck with the sale!
