Very special, extremely rare car... BMW history. A collector piece.
All original - all VIN tags in place – absolutely no paintwork, clean title. The car still brand smells new. Absolutely perfect.
In addition, it is an all-original one-owner car from new.
As rare as it gets for the base E36 M3 chassis (non LTW, non M3 GT) - I have not seen another in this spec over the years. From my research this car is a one of one for North American production making it the rarest Dakar Yellow E36 in the country. I tried getting a confirmation from BMW North America, however they do not keep build spec production numbers in their database.
I am in NYC, the car is stored in the suburbs of Long Island in the garages.
Pictures do not do it justice but I’ve added some just so you can get an idea.
I am asking $50,000.
Feel free to PM me, and we can discuss.

I owned a 1995 Dakar with the same interior that I swapped over after 8 years of ownership. Sold that car to boosted ^.
On a side note, if this E28 with 84k miles on it went for 50k on BaT, I see no reason why your car can't do the same or more.

Thanks guys, there always seems to be a connection & appreciation for 90's BMW Motorsport within the Rennlist community.
@JEllis - Good eye. All US-spec OBD1 M3's without luxury package had the leatherette style inserts including the cloth option cars. Funny enough, my '97 Estoril Blue M3 with M/Cross/Grau (gray cloth version of this interior) had the matching cloth door cards.

What kind of maintenance records do you have? I.e. has the cooling system been proactively replaced yet?
I see a dash cover; does the dash have any cracks?
Car looks great! Love that it's all stock! Price seems a little cheeky to me given the mileage , but these early low-mileage E36 M3s are getting very rare indeed. GLWS!
