-NEW INFORMATION-

A bit of research has unearthed new information on my car. As mentioned previously the water pump has a later date stamp than the build date of the car. I had assumed that meant the water pump had been changed at some point, but I've been unable to acquire the early service records from Beverly Hills Porsche due to their privacy policy. This lead to a review of the engine number, which turned out to be a 2006 M96 engine. After much pleading with BH Porsche one of their service advisors returned my call to confirm that in November of 2006 my car experienced an IMSB failure which led to the replacement of the engine with a new one. The service advisor confirmed this verbally on the phone with me. I'm not sure how I can get this documented....still working on that. The engine in the car is # M96/0569611572. That corresponds to the 23 W 06 date stamp on the water pump. Based on Carfax history the estimated mileage on new engine would be in the high 30's. By all accounts this should be a larger IMSB car, same as 06-08 997's. Pic of engine number plate attached.

Hello Rennlist,
Up for sale is my 2005 997 C2. I've owned the car for the last 5 years. It's been a great car, but it's time to experience something else.

-I'm the 3rd owner, SoCal car its whole life.
-Clear title in hand, no bank lien.
-PPI's welcome
-Car is located on the west side of Los Angeles, Santa Monica adjacent
-I've had it serviced the last 5 years by Marc Bixen at Redline Service in West L.A.

CAR HAS ORIGINAL IMSB. I've not done anything in regards to the IMSB. There are no signs of any issue, oil checks don't show any problems here. I've decided I can sleep at night with the 92%-95% chance that everything will be fine. This car does have the serviceable bearing should you decide to have it replaced.

-Options:
Seal Grey, Black Standard Leather
267- Self Dimming Mirrors
405- 19" Carrera Classic Wheel
435- Sport Steering Wheel
446- Wheel Caps w/colored crest
640- Sport Chrono
670- Navigation for PCM
690- Bose High End Sound
M6A- Black Mats
P15- Power seats
P74- Bi-Xenon lights
XCZ- Sport Shifter
XSC- Porsche Crest in Headrest

$81,800 Original MSRP Production month 01/05

MODS:
-FD Motorsports Fister Exhaust
Installed by Redline in June, 2013
-IPD Plenum
Installed by Redline in April, 2014
-TechArt lowering springs
Installed by Wheel Enhancement Culver City, CA with Alignment In July, 2014
-HRE Flow Form FF01 Wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sports 235/295 in April, 2014

I have all service records for the last 5 years plus the PPI report performed by Rusnack Porsche in Pasadena when I purchased the car. Carfax lists service records as well but item's I've addressed are:

-New starter cable at time of purchase
-New coolant tank at time of purchase
-Front brake rotors and pads, rear pads with all new caliper bolts, sensors, etc. done at Redline in July, 2014 at 52k miles
-Water pump has been replaced- I have no records but the date stamp on pump is later than the car build date so this was replaced prior to my ownership.

-No accidents, no paintwork, no stories
-Mechanically it's 10/10, no known issues, needs 60k service items such as cabin filters, plugs, etc.
-Last oil service done in August, 2017 just prior to me driving up to Monterey for Werks Reunion at 59k miles.

As a 60k mile, 13 year old car it has some scratches and dings. Generally very good condition exterior and interior, no major damage. 3" light scratch on hood, small ding above passenger front wheel and small rock chip on drivers side door. I can take more photos of any specific area.

Asking $32,000 with the HRE Wheels. Knock $2k off with the OE 19" Carrera Classic Wheels. Those have Michelin PS2's on them. Tread left, but old.

E-mail cunnin90@yahoo.com and I can e-mail you scans of any records/history or text three one zero-966-0 9 7 8 to see the car.

Thanks for looking!
