1995 968 in Guards Red/Cashmere. 47,xxx miles. Chromed Cup 2 wheels.

I would think this is one of the cleanest 968's you will ever find, short of someone with a minimum miles, bubble-wrapped one from the get-go. This is a time machine. All original paint, all original equipment except for radio head unit. Have ownership papers and all original parts. Only work I have done to the car is to straighten the lower front bumper 'smile' which was a bit askew when I received the car.

Regrettably offering this to another RL member as I have incoming cars to make room for. Too many cars, not enough time to enjoy them all.

No stories, no issues, car needs nothing to be enjoyed. Clean history, clean CA title, meticulously cared for over it's lifetime to the present. Windshield does have some noticeable pitting (but no cracks) so if you wanted perfection it might be replaced. Prior Florida car, owned by another RL member.

$30,000. Prefer a local SF Bay Area buyer, but will ship at buyer's expense.

I will let the pictures speak for the car's condition and beauty.

Beautiful car! Would you say the front seats are 100% original or have the main panels been replaced? They are different colors, at least in the pictures, as compared to the rest of the seat.

Why does everyone in California have chromed wheels?

;-)

My understanding from the prior owner is that the leather is original, never redone. I believe these are leather seating surfaces and non-leather surrounds, and as the car ages, the colors start to diverge somewhat.

I also think the color variation in the interior photos of the seats are influenced by the angle of the particular seating surface... the flat surfaces look a bit darker/richer than the slanted/angled surfaces (e.g. seat bottom centers vs side bolsters).

Beautiful car...certainly a dream of mine to add a nice 968 to the collection!

To the leather question, the cars had IIRC three choices on upholstery: Fabric which is quite rare, Partial Leather which had leather front and synthetic side & rear, and full leather. I spent 6/93 to about 1/95 selling Porsches when I was right out of college. They were selling 10,000 cars in the USA barely. All the stuff we couldn't give away is now a super hot commodity....we had $10,000 back of invoice on RSAs since no one wanted them!

To answer some of the questions posed on PM

1. I have full documentation and service records, and current Carfax
2. I have posted the original window sticker below
3. More photos are available via photo sharing upon request
4. Original head unit, Colgan front bra etc etc from the prior owner is also in hand
