997 Turbo - 6MT - $17K just spent - Full Warranty

2 Attachment(s)
I am re-advertising my 2007 997 Turbo. Previous buyer had financing problems, after the car successfully went though a PPI. Wasted time unfortunately.

Car fax has a report from 2008, spoke with dealer prior to purchasing myself and he confirmed that it was just cosmetic/bumper damage. Repaired by Porsche. My PPI and the recent PPI show the car to be in excellent condition with no traceable issues

The car just had 17k worth of work done. New OEM turbos and major service done while the car was in at Manhattan Motorsports. Great car, not getting much seat time now so keen to find it a new home.

Feel free to reach out directly with any questions - 917 421 0372

Options etc below, will post more pictures when I get a moment to go snap some recent ones -

Sport Chrono Package
LSD
Full AWE exhaust system (sounds great)
Porsche fitted short shifter (must have)
Adaptive leather sports seats
Heated front seats
Bluetooth
Navigation
Illuminated door sills

Why did it need new turbos already with the car having such low miles?

Funny, I was just asked that by someone else. Good question.

According to the guy that runs the place that does work on my cars, they were clogged. (i'm paraphrasing....but thats the gist)

The car has not been driven much since I bought it (GT3 gets most miles) and I think that has lead to the issue. Either way, they are brand new now. While it was in the shop they also replaced the clutch fluid cylinder and did a major service.

I should add that the car has a full warranty that covered all the work. Fidelity were awesome, sent out an adjuster next day and got the work approved.

Warranty has 2.5 years left and will transfer with the car.

Interior pics?

Any interior pics? Pics of damaged bumper?
Copy of PPI? DME report?
Assume the carfax shows accident?
Vin number?
clear bra by any chance?
Where are you located?
Interested but wouldn't be able to see the car until next weekend depending on where you are.
Thanks!

Oh, did they pin the coolant pipes by any chance?

dlb 07-10-2017 06:19 PM

Hi - Car is currently at Manhattan Motorsports in Roslyn, but will probably be back in Southold NY this weekend. I added the VIN to the posting above. Can dosnt have clear bra.

I sent you a note separately, but will follow up on this thread with the other things you mention to provide as much info as possible.

Texts and PMs responded to. The market has spoken and I don't want this hanging around. I'm dropping the price to $68,000. Amazing car for that money but I don't have room for it and it needs driving. Fast.

I remember seeing a youtube walk around - that would prob help as well...

Blk interior?

Oh man! If I didn't just buy my GT350 this would be very tempting. I remember seeing it posted last time. I'm surprised it hasn't sold yet. GLWS!

Apologies for the delay in responding here. There has been a lot of interest in the last 24 hours that I am now working through with several people. It seems that the difference between selling a car in the winter vs the summer is very significant! Who would have thought.....

The car is black on black and the interior is in great condition. If it's helpful below is the walk around video I shot a couple months back. Be warned, it's not the highest production value but should add some color to the listing.

68k is a great price on that car with warranty!
My experience with aftermarket warranty co is that they generally want parts replaced with new instead of rebuilding, I wouldn't worry about the turbos.

car still available?

Yeah, several of the low-mile 997 TT's I have seen for sale have required new turbos. Even more the super low mileage ones. It isn't good to leave these cars sitting around!

GLWS, looks like a sweet ride!
