This is the second one I've owned and in my opinion one of the best driving cars ever made. It has only 40k miles and I'm the second owner. I purchased the car in October of 2013 with 11k miles. Since then it hasn't given me any problems.
The car has the upgraded factory radio with DSP and split fold rear seats. When I bought it it came with a front strut tower brace, cold air intake, rear lip spoiler and a rear exhaust. I have since replaced the rear muffler with a Dinan. It sounds great without being too loud or droning. Other upgrades include a short shifter from an E60 M-Sport, E39 M5 rear swaybar, Mediabridge iPhone integration, and whiter angel eye bulbs. The shifter makes a big difference but I have the original. I also have the original swaybar. The iPod/iPhone integration charges my phone and allows for steering wheel control of songs. It also provides for Bluetooth although the microphone isn't great for hands free calling. It replaced the CD changer but I have it and it's included. The swaybar helped to reduce the normal understeer.
When I bought it the first thing I did was have the front end clear bra applied. The car is very clean. There are a few chips but nothing major. There are no signs of previous accidents and no paintwork. The side mirrors don't show any signs of delamination.
The interior is very clean and the seats have never been redyed. There is some wear on the drivers seat but nothing terrible or out of the ordinary. Both the instrument cluster and the radio displays have a couple lines of LED's out but the odometer is perfect. No cracks in the wood trim. I have the original floor mats (which I've never even cleaned). From day one I've had Weathertech mats in place.
I've always properly maintained the car. Recently I replaced the passenger occupancy mat to cure an airbag light and it has a fresh oil change. Before you buy it I will be replacing the valve cover gaskets due to slight seepage. I'll also be replacing the serpentine belt due to a few cracks. I replaced the battery when I bought it due to age. It always starts strong. All oil changes have always been done and I've never had to add oil between them.
The front tires are new with less than 1k miles and the rears are about half. The wheels are original and very clean. The right front has a slight bit of rash which you can see in the pictures. They aren't perfect but darned close.
I have the original keys and books.
If you've been looking for a 540i/6 this may be the cleanest, lowest mileage example you'll ever find. While it pains me to sell I simply don't have the room and another ride is calling me.
I'm happy to answer any questions about the car. The car is located in the Pittsburgh PA area.

Literally, possibly the best all around BMW ever made.
As an owner of one, they are also the best built BMW's hands down.
A gem with only, 40k miles and ultra rare color combo. GLWS!
