WTT/FS - Acura NSX with only 12,000 miles

Stunning example of one of the most iconic sports cars of the last 20 years.

This car is a 9/10 condition car with minor rock chips being the ONLY flaw, truly concourse ready example that has a few extras under the "hood".

I have owned this car since mid 2015 and it has had no issues aside from replacing the battery. It is truly a joy to drive and is the focal point of wherever it goes. My only real issue with the car is that I am 6'4" and 280 lbs, they never intended me to drive this beauty!

All modifications less than 2000 miles on them.

3.5L Comptech race spec engine
2.9 Whipple SC
Bryant Forged Crank
Carrillo Rods
Mahle Pistons
Billet Mains
Fully blueprinted and balanced
**complete paperwork from Comptech available

AEM EMS Series 2 Engine Management System which allows flex-fuel operation.

Fluidyne IC intake by Wilson Manifolds and 1000CC injectors
Comptech headers and exhaust
8 rib pulleys and ATI damper
Carbon Fiber Air Box
Body: Completely stock less front emblem and rear lens Acura stickers.
Wheels: SSR Custom 17 x 8” fronts and 18 x 10-1/2” rears.
Tires: new 235 F and 305 R Toyo RA-1’s
Suspension: RM sway bars, KW KV-3 coil overs, SOS Noncompliance rear beam, DA Noncompliance toe links,
Brakes: Brembo
SOS dual carbon twin clutch
ATS 4:23 CF 1.5 Way LSD
Seatrab front cooler

Car recently had complete paint correction with CQuartz nano protection and application of XPel clear film on entire front and leading edges.

There is an accident on the Car-Fax recorded 1/2003. I have talked to previous owners and the door was hit by a mirror from another car and the "damage" was buffed out by Acura dealership. PPI are welcome.

My apologies as the photos aren't in any specific order, link as follows:

I am interested in trades for air cooled car or 996 GT3 with cash going in either direction depending on the deal.

Thanks,

Mike

Nice. I just bought a mint '98. The 3.2L cars are great. Well, any NSX is a pretty fantastic drive. ;-)

GLWS. Hope it finds a good home.

Very nice, where is the car located?

Thanks.

The car is in my garage in Houston. Pics were taken at a local dealership where I will sell it on consignment if I cannot come through on my foremost goal of a trade for an air-cooled car.

Beauty!

Just curious as to whether it has been dyno'd?

Very clean. Nose was re-sprayed? Missing emblem up front.

Thank you.

All paint is as it came from the factory (maybe a little better actually after the CQuartz application).

The second owner decided to "de badge" the car and I decided to leave it that way.

Beautiful build! I'm looking for a very similar configuration: S/C NSX-T.
But, I reside in California and I assume the Whipple SC means that it's not a CARB certified unit?

Wow. Must make nice power over stock.

Resolute1 04-09-2016 09:30 AM

Thanks for the comments and questions guys.

I'm not sure if the car passes California smog, but after talking to a few people there yesterday - someone could certainly get it done if they wanted to ;)

As far as power, on E85 the car makes almost 500hp which is incredibly fun in an NSX. On pump gas it makes a mid to high 300 number.
