pristine Porsche 996 C4S with crzy service history, IMS, PSE, Window sticker

History:
I bought this pristine C4S from my neighbor as soon it came up for sale. Each time this C4S went passing my house l would enjoyed the sound coming out of the Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE) system and car always looked as if it came out of the showroom. I literally walked six houses down the same exact street and bought it for the asking price. Previous owner was a pilot for AA. Fun fact: When I went to DMV to register the car, DMV associate thought I had mistakenly put my address on both buyer and sellers line!

Why I am selling:
I am selling this for number of reasons. I have several Porsches (928, 911, 944, Boxster, Cayenne GTS etc.), I plan to downsize my P-car collection to buy fewer but different cars (Ex:997.2 turbo PDK, 928 GTS etc.). I always have had older cars and want to enjoy newer cars for a change. I also want funds and time to embark on a high-end Porsche vintage restoration project.

Short description:
This Arctic Silver/Graphite Gray California 911 C4s has been meticulously maintained by Porsche of San Diego dealer since 2003-2017. Extensive service history is organized in a thick binder. Clean Carfax and well documented mileage. All typical M96 engine preventives have been addressed including IMS, yearly oil changes and recent Oil analysis. Car comes with the original Window sticker ($100k) and a car cover. You can tell this car has been maintained by Porsche fanatics when you see how clean the car inside and out, engine bay, undercarriage and wheel wells. One of the cleanest 996 C4S in the market right now. Everything works!!

Service history
Too long to list here, in a nutshell all Porsche minor and Major services performed well before the schedule intervals. Oil has been changed in very short intervals. Few months ago, I did an Oil analysis (12 months & 8k miles old oil) by Blackstone laboratory who said one of the best oil reports they have seen (report available with comments).

Most recent Engine and trans Lube services include:
October/2017: Full Transmission Service
August/2017: Oil service/Oil analysis
May/2016: Porsche 996 Yearly oil Service
May/2015: Porsche 996 Yearly oil Service
Sep/2014: Porsche 996 Yearly oil Service
Mar/2013: Porsche 996 Yearly oil Service
Mar/2012: Porsche 996 Yearly oil Service
.
.
.
May/2004:Oil service
May/2003: Fuel sender unitl and chekup by dealer

………..and the list goes on ..well you get the picture. Extensive Dealer service every year on the mark!!!!!

In addition to above lube services, all typical things that go bad such as window regulators, Mirror motors, seat stuff, mass air flow sensors, electrical stuff, IMs etc. have been addressed/fixed. I also removed the front bumper and cleaned/power-washed radiators.

Great ad - good luck with the sale. Those technos are one of my favorite P car wheels of all time.

All PMs has been replied. I was looking at a Rennlist Thread )https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...2017-a-8.html) that has sales prices of 996. I think my price favors the buyer given what people has paid for regular C2 cars. I have had less traction with this car, wonder why?

I'm not sure how this car hasn't been sold or at the very least created significant interest. With such a detailed and complete service history in addition to excellent mechanical/cosmetic condition the price you ask is more than fair. Wondering if the PDK is holding it back? GLWS

Yeah...How is this still here...Sweet

The pictures don't do justice, car looks amazing in person, the PSE sound is musical :). I probably should add video here. Car gets driven daily, its very hard to drive a manual theses days in San Diego daily traffic, so between my wife and I we tend to drive the C4s more than the other cars due to automatic. As of today, I have not advertised the car anywhere else (ex: craigslist), I was hoping a fellow Rennlister would identify the value. I might try other avenues next month.

IMHO to make it perfect it would be manual and have a black leather interior. I could do without the painted center console.
Great looking car and super reliable when properly maintained.GLWS!

I had a manual Turbo x50 and sold it, I could not drive it daily on San Diego traffic, my next 911 will be automatic or PDK, I drive my 928 car often as they are automatic too. I never though I would drive an automatic 911 until I moved to California and hit with crazy bumper to bumper traffic. If the car is used for Sunday driving- then definitely manual.
