YMMV

SPOT ON about the wireless remote! Superwinch makes an add-on kit that enables wireless via your phone - no more losing the remotes or having the batteries go dead on the remotes.

And even though the S7500 that is on sale comes with a wire rope, I went ahead and bought the rope replacement to save my hands. Still, the combined cost of the winch and rope replacement was LESS than the original cost of the winch by itself!

Did you wind up with the yellow 1/4" x 50' shown on their site or did you manage to get the 5/16" x 55' replacement from the 7500SR?

Warn or Superwinch, but either way go with a wireless control.

+1 to the wireless remote.

+100 to carrying spare batteries for said remote. Yes, I learned this one the hard way.
