Default how the RPM LED bar is supposed to be useful.

I don't get how the RPM LED bar is supposed to be useful. LED bar on the steering wheel which I think only lights up as he hits or approaches engine redline. As if It's like scaled from 7000 to 8000 or something

Exactly that. It tells you at a quick glance when you're getting close to and at redline.

Depending on your dash, you may be able to program it for other purposes. For example, my MoTeC shift light module is also programmed to show brake pressure. Very cool!
