Default Ram 3500 DRW and first 'mods'

I've had my new tow truck for about a month now. I got a Ram 3500 Laramie Longhorn Crew/longbox DRW. I loved my old 2500 but this truck is just the bomb. It drives beautifully for a humongous truck! The electronics package is simply fantastic and the interior is rich cow.

I overdosed on options. I like the factory goose prep and the rear cargo camera. I got the rear air suspension but won't test it out until I get my new gooseneck next month. An interesting option is the auxiliary switch/power take off package. It consists of 5 aux switches and a power center under the hood that comes with wiring that can be simply plugged in. I used the power center for my auxiliary fuel tank transfer pump and it worked great. The AISIN tranny option gets me the 900 ftlb tune on the motor which will be great for towing.

I'm really happy with it!

I posted in another thread that I installed a 50-gallon Titan Travel Trekker tank in the bed. The control switch is on my dash to start the pump and it tells me the fuel level in the aux tank.

I wanted a tonneau cover that would be acceptable for goose necking and also would allow access to fill the auxiliary tank. The Truxedo Deuce 2 is really cool and it can be accessed from the front and rear (laughing).

Very excited to get towing in my new bad *** rig!

Are you getting TPMS for the trailer tires?

I you're not doing to run a 5th wheel, this is a cool idea to get more use from the bed.

That's a pretty cool concept.
I have a nice hitch based one that's great for my recumbent. When we tow the bikes will go in the trailer!

I'm probably missing something, but How can you have a gooseneck setup and a bed slide?

I still have a HK exhaust tip but I think it's too small for the diesel.

On my F250 the warranty is voided if you change the tips. Apparently they are part of the emissions system.
So no kitties in my tips (not that I would)

That is just plain un-American.

Badass truck. You need the AEV front bumper

Shackles, winch, lightbar optional. I use them on my ranch a lot but you may not need them
