Cross beams aka shoring beams whose ends snap into the wall mounted etrack form the tire rack across the nose (or tail) of the car.
Shoring beams are readily available from truck/trailer supply stores.
You can buy either a fixed length or adjustable.

Ours in a 24' trailer - shoring beams from recycle place - when rack is not full the blue tie down strap is used connected to the etrack.
Looks like sh$t but it works . . .

That's how mine was set up. Only difference was mine was mounted lower to the car hood.

That's how mine is too, but i have 2 sets on the same etrack so i can carry 4 full sets of tires. That's how it was set up when i bought it, no problems so far.
