I think an escape door can be nice to have, but a lot us get by without them.
I climb out of my window (gutted and caged Cayman) without much difficulty and am far from gymnastic.
And winches can be added easily.

Yep, me too! My e36 clears the fenders. My GT3 I did climb out the window.

Winch would be ideal though

I bet the steering wheel has been removed prior and you are not worried about scratching up interior trim pieces.

Have you tried the same with your GT4? Or was your GT3 equivalent in terms of size and seat?

I haven't tried the GT4. The GT3 did have the sport buckets though

Might be an interesting exercise; GT4 w/LWBs vs GT3 w/SBs.

Correct, my wheel is removable and there are fewer interior bits to scratch.
I am only trying to make a point that the absence of an escape door doesn't mean a specific trailer is unacceptable. It may be for some buyers.

I had a 20' Featherlite enclosed with a winch. The winch takes the hassle and worry out of loading your car. I was always worried driving my car on trailer. If you have mechanical problems you can still load your car by yourself. Winch is a small cost for great return.
