Default Smarty Tuner and others for improved mileage

Does anyone have first hand experience using a Smarty Tuner (or Bully or whatever) with a Ram 6.7 diesel?

I'm not so much interested in power but want to get better mileage towing. 2-3 mpg (which is what many reviews say) adds up but more importantly means fewer gas station excursions when towing.

I have a 07.5 with the 6.7 Cummins and went with the EFILive. I added a cold air intake (huge huge increase), egr delete, and dumped the entire exhaust for a 4" mandrel turbo back that was stupid cheap. I now get 22 miles around town and 12.5 mpg towing a 17,000 lb trailer

Glad to hear Bob. My main concern is whether or not these programmers are snake oil!
