You may perceive this as a joke but as someone who went from steel trailer, to aluminum trailer with a tire rack, and finally to an enclosed trailer, I wish I had bought my enclosed trailer and the needed F350 diesel at the first step and saved the money.

That being said, I sold my aluminum trailer at a $500 profit after using it for a couple of years.

It is rated at 7700 lbs. but my major concern is that is it has such a short WB and my trailer is longer than it.

Thoughts? Concerns?
Hi, did you ever get the Q8 and how is it? Im
looking to get at Q7 or Q8 and will be towing a 23’ Airstream. Leaning toward the Q8 with adaptive suspension.

yeah sorry. I edited my response but you already saw it. I meant to better understand the setup this person has since Q7 is more prevalent than Q8 on the towing world.

Love our Q8...It is my wife's car...But my tow vehicle! LOL. Prestihe BUT no air suspension. No issues!

I get 14 MPG all day long driving 70-75 mph on flat ground. Not too bad!

Do you use a WDH or sway controller of any kind?

Which Futura is that? Supersport or Tandem?

it looks to be a Supercar model, I just received the exact model and funny enough, I will be towing it with a Q8. I’m happy to hear that you are not having any issues with it.

Almost everyone says this and a number of track buddies have enclosed trailers with proper tow vehicles, but I would not trade my current set up for anything and I don’t have a budget for a trailer or tow vehicle. I currently use my 2012 Range Rover Sport as a daily and tow my 991 track car on a Futura. I’d rather not deal with the hassle of a larger enclosed trailer even though I recognize the benefits and have the space. I like the more compact, less is more, philosophy and it makes driving the entire “rig” easier. I may upgrade eventually to a full size Range Rover Supercharged, but for now, I can’t part with my current Range Rover Sport because I just really like it and how it drives.

I am fabricating a fuel can holder on the deck immediately behind the air dam. They fit even with my car pulled up about an inch away from the air dam on each side of the deck behind the air dam.
