You'll love the Intech trailer.... I've got a 28' regular trailer from them and its the best trailer I've had so far. Oh, and if you didn't already know this, Intech will send you a website link to see the photos of various build stages.

Maybe I missed it but manual landing gear sucks. Last thing I want to do at the end of a good day. Also, in floor winch had better line up with your cars tow eye location. And they never do. If the winch is not in line with the tow hook the cable will bunch to one side and jam. Winch in a pit with a pulley mast looks cool, but really a useless POS. For starters the pulley must be at least the diameter of the winch drum. If it is smaller then that pulley will put a nasty bend in your cable and soon wires will start breaking.
But all else looks well appointed. Other than the solar power.

I’m not sure about the manual landing gear. It’s been upgraded to a single post hydraulic jack but I can’t imagine not having a manual landing gear on each side of the trailer for stability. I guess I can ask my dealer.

Maybe I can ask about installing a winch off center to line up better for GT3. Not sure if everyone is having the same problem. Maybe synthetic rope won’t bunch up as easily?

Please let me know if there are any other helpful pointers. Anything you would have done differently on your trailer would be helpful.

Thanks.

Seung

If will bunch up if pulling off center and when I had the winch in the pit I also had to use a ****** block tied to one of the D rings to partially solve the problem. As the car got closer it had to be unhooked and final pull bunched up just a little. I now have my winch mounted to a billet aluminum fat T bar that is anchored to the front wall of my GN trailer. Winch slides to the right for GT3, or slide it to the left for the McLaren.
My manual landing was just a PITA to me and took some effort. A friend wanted to help me set up at an event and even though he was strong enough to turn the crank, he did not weigh enough once the crank went to top center, could not get it down. Other drawback was uneven ground and I needed to keep a few pieces of plywood on hand to make sure both feet were supported the same height as one crank lowers both legs and if not even it would twist the trailer. When one side crapped out I replaced both with BullDog electric landing gear. Electric has 2 switches. Lower one leg until it bears a little weight, repeat for other leg. The press both switches to evenly raise the trailer.

This is great. Thank you for the information.
I’ll definitely ask to see if sliding winch is an option to accommodate both GT3 and Exige. I didn’t know such existed for electric landing gears. I’ll add that to the list.
Appreciate your insight!
