Black Sheep Racing is looking for a 53' race transporter. Must have liftgate, 2 car upper deck, 1 car lower deck with cabinets & work counter that allow for pit cart and Taylor Dunn storage in between. Also require a lounge in the upper compartment. Please PM with any leads.
We had a hell of a time finding a 3 car 53' for a customer. He finally bought one of Joe Gibb's old trailers, and we converted the bottom rear half of the workshop to hold a third car. PITA but gave us the opportunity to completely update the inside of the trailer. Mid progress picture below, all the rear cabinets removed (front cabinets are pulled away from the wall to switch locations around which is why that looks so skinny up front). It had floor to ceiling cabinets almost all the way to the rear door, plus one additional workbench) Once the cabinets were removed, we just had to build steel box frames to extended the wheel wells back to the rear door and boom, third car storage. Used white laminate sheets to redo the walls and such, installed LED lighting etc. In front of the workshop is a small office, and the driver's lounge is up in the nose. With three cars racing, we also haul a 44' ATC 3 car stacker just for the golf cart, multiple pit boxes, and the ungodly amount of spare parts and tires. It is stacked to the brime as well. We use the front nose storage on top for spare body parts, but if you didn't need that space, you could probably put the pit cart up top and the taylor dunn down the middle into the workshop area. Just some ideas incase you find almost the right trailer for a good price which is what we finally did.....
