At the risk of starting a debate that cannot be settled - there is no aero advantage of a V nose. Ultimately the frontal area is the same and that is what is the primary driver of the drag a trailer creates. The only real advantage of a V nose is it sometimes allows for a slightly shorter overall length versus a flat front as the trailer can have a smaller tongue since the V nose provides some clearance when turning. However, storage in the nose is harder to make efficient... so again, probably not a net benefit.

This was a finding that surprised me. I towed my new Intech 24' flat nose and got same or even slightly better mileage than my old Featherlight 22' V-nose. Both trailers weight about the same.
