Any other recommendations on straps and typical length?

My trailer is coming next week so I cannot estimate length very well yet....but I'm itching to get all the parts ordered!
How long is your trailer? I would suggest ordering a little longer than you anticipate to be on the safe side.

I have used Mac's and several others like US Cargo, and they all work well.

It's only 22' in length.
I ordered a few 6' and a few 8' from Mac's.
Actual trailer below...

I think with 8' you should be OK, but the 6' might on the shortish side. Make sure when you are cranking on the handles that you get a least 5 to 6 full pulls so that you have an enough strap going around the spindle to prevent the straps from slipping.

Awesome....thanks.
I'll post up a few pics when I first load the car.

Lord knows I could use a peer check by the veterans like yourself here...

I never interrupt the loading sequence once started. And wifey knows to stay clear. Any interruption allows a mistake to sneak in and you will end up with a "Trailer Story". No issue with coolers or other items but once I start winching in the car I do not stop until it is tied down.

Agree. The other day I discovered what I thought was a minor impact on my lower left rear bumper area. Turns out after I thought about it, I did it by running over one of my wheel chocks that somehow got sucked up between the tire and wheel well. Just wasn't paying attention at some point and didn't move it out of the way. Was a huge PITA to get out. Now I have to get the bumper removed, painted, etc.

Longer is always better. Too short is a fail. I have a 24 foot trailer, but i want to wrap the excess webbing around the Rachel to further secure it
