Default Camouflaging a trailer in your driveway

I have a 27 foot enclosed trailer and just moved into a new house where the trailer will be more noticeable in the driveway. At my old house it was more hidden on the side of my house.

I'm looking to "camouflage" the trailer a little better. On one side I have a stockade fence and I think I could attach something to it to cover it a little but on the other side I was thinking that I need poles which are removable. thinking about sinking some tubes in the ground and then I could put some ten foot poles with hunters camouflage blind type material.

Does anyone camouflage their trailer? Any ideas?

Congrats on the new house and (new?) trailer.
We are moving to Maine, where trailers are a common eyesore, so you could try that.
Or paint it to blend into the background, maybe a suburban motif.
Other than that, leave it at a storage place?
I don't envy trailer owners in suburbia.

Me too, but I've learned a trick. If the trailer is going to stay for more than 24 hours, I send a not to the HOA saying that I'm performing maintenance and the date that it will leave. Have not had a problem since.

Paint the side of it with a landscape view of your neighbors' houses. If they complain well...

Plant some bushes - or bamboo (if you are in a hurry).

A racer on LI planted bamboo for cover. Then the town came after him as it's considered an invasive species! He had to have it all dug out or face fines.

Will they tolerate a banquet style tent with sides? Might be more acceptable than a camouflage netting.

When you plant bamboo it takes over your yard, your life, and eventually it changes the shows you are recording on your DVR. It is also really hard to get rid of unless you dig out all the roots.

Since it snows here (this winter, A LOT!) I want to stay away from anything with a roof.

The side closest to my neighbor is really taken care of. He has a bunch of pine trees and when I discussed this with him he said he is going to plant a couple more to "block me out". It appears we both like our privacy so no offense taken.

I really want to camouflage it on the other side for me. I was thinking about sleeves into the ground and then I could stick some poles with netting or something on them. Still not sure what the best way to do this is.

Hey Todd!
Congrats on the new "digs!" If you place poles and netting to provide camo for the trailer, will it hinder your ability to maneuver it into place for parking?

HOA s and trailers...... I parked mine behind the fence and had no no neighbors on that side. Could not see it from any direction except if you were flying over the house. Guess what, I got fined since I had a trailer in my property. Read the covenants carefully. My fine was enough to pay for a storage for a month.

Now, it was Ok for my neighbor to have a Corvette on his driveway with a tree growing through it.
