What sized enclosed trailer might work?

Hello Folks
i am in the market for an enclosed trailer with a somewhat finished interior to carry a 911 sized car or a few motorcycles, or the car and one bike.
i know the tongue weight is a factor to deal with. Am looking at a decent trailer like an Intech, ATC, or Becker.Now retiring from work, time to plan and execute some trips to the tracks around the country. Will tow with a GMC 2500 pickup diesel. I don’t intend to haul a lot of extra stuff, so I do not need more than a single row of cabinets across the forward bulkhead.

That would be a motorcycle - worst case with the car 600 lbs of bike

You're looking at a 24-footer for just the cabinets and 911, so I'd suggest looking for at least a 28" trailer assuming that the bike gets loaded cross-wise.

Going over on the tongue weight certainly won't be a concern with your 2500, but you might wind up a little light up front if you load the bike behind the rear-engined 911. Maybe either back the car in or plan on loading the bike up front.

I've got a 24' with a car and a moped up front with cabinets. It works fine.

I've had a 24' trailer in the past and it had enough room for my longest cars ('64 GTO and '70 Chevelle SS) plus some space in front of the trailer for spare tires and some misc small stuff. Now, I've got a 28' Intech trailer and have plenty of room up front for stuff along with a single row of cabinets. The build quality of the Intech trailers is outstanding and I highly recommend them! They've also got great customer service post-sale, which in my book is a big plus.

I've always followed one rule with trailers.... go bigger than you think.

If the choice is between a 24 foot and 27-28 foot go bigger. You only regret if you go smaller and it is nice to have extra space. I have a 27 foot to carry a Cayman and sometimes I feel like I am out of room.

Thanks all. I ordered a 28’ InTech without lower cabinets up front, to load a car and a couple of bikes on the longer trips
