I thought it was Agate grey when I first looked. Car looks clean. GLWS!

I am surprised by the lack of interest in a prime GT4 on Rennlist - people in other forums are all over these cars! If I don't get any response, I'll have to list it on BringATrailer - most of the GT4's listed there are selling over MSRP. |
A GT silver GT4 just sold on BAT for $95,500 with an msrp of $104,700. Has 24k miles. But it has steel brakes.
And a couple others didn’t meet reserve recently. You’ll likely get more interested parties in the low $90s. just my 2¢ |
Perfect spec glws

But aren't you glad the market is still not near as bad as when you bought this car on BaT? You got one of the all-time great deals. What happened to the Fabspeed exhaust, etc. that came on it? It is a very nice example. But here on RL it's all about the seats! :-)

So, I think my asking price of $96K OBO is right in the mix based on my MSRP of $98.7K - actually one could say it was a bit low. Thanks for the feedback! |
Actually, the market was not bad when this car was purchased - the bid just had an inattentive seller. On the BAT forum, buyers ask lots of questions and expect the seller to provide prompt and detailed answers. This seller was super-busy at the time and did not respond - turned the buyers off. So, I got a bargain - after I reached the seller via phone and got my questions answered between 2 meetings he had!
As to the Fabspeed parts, I reverted the car back to stock and sold those parts - was not impressed at all. To be fair, passing Cali smog was also a factor in my decision. |
New tires added to front (rear have only 2,500 miles). Re-wrap and PPF added to nose/bumper. Service done only 800 miles ago - ready to run!

I remember the original auction, and agree that seller's non-responsiveness absolutely chilled results.
But candidly, wrap, sofas, and relatively higher mileage (absurd, I know) also put this car a bit lower. I bet with wrap removed, you'd net a few grand more, but I agree this is a low 90s car right now. Which is still a profit for you! I say this as a fellow owner who watches every single US sale with an eye towards possibly offloading my own in the future. So, believe me, I want values to stay high . . . Just being realistic. |
