2011 Porsche 911 Carrera S (997.2), 6-speed, sports suspension, 30K miles
2011 Porsche 911 (997.2) Carrera S with 30,500 miles. Meteor Grey Metallic exterior and a black interior. 6-speed manual transmission, Sports Suspension, Comfort Package, Infotainment Package, Limited Slip Rear Differential, Heated Steering Wheel, 19" Turbo II Wheels, Front Seat Ventilation, Dynamic Cornering Lights, Sports Chrono Package Plus, and a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.
Fabspeed Center Muffler Bypass X-Pipe, Carbon Fiber Air Intake, and Exhaust Tips, plus all the stock parts and both keys. Paint protection film applied at dealer before delivery to original owner. Always hand-washed; always garage-kept. Both the interior and exterior are in excellent condition and look almost new. I'm the second owner; I've now owned it for 3 years and ~10K miles. I purchased the car from the original owner, a 75-year-old friend and former president of the PCA Delaware chapter. All service records and receipts available since new. New serpentine belt and hardware installed in August; new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires and TPMS sensors installed ~2K miles ago. The car is equipped with the following great options (see build sheet for complete list):
Aftermarket equipment:
Additional Info: Maintained by an automotive enthusiast and perfectionist. Always garaged, rarely driven in rain, never driven in winter or anytime there's a trace of salt. Spends the winter in the garage on a trickle charger. It's never been smoked in. The title is clean; it's never been in an accident; no paintwork besides a few rock chip touch-ups. Clean Carfax. Current PA inspection good until 10/2021. I do most of the maintenance myself - I'm an engineer by day, and a car nut by night/weekend. Service records available upon request, along with a link to over 200 pictures. The car has been autocrossed several times but has never been tracked by me or the original 75-year-old owner. Clean DME with 524 Range 1 over-revs (equal to ~1.4 seconds at rev limiter over the life of the car); nothing in Ranges 2 through 6. Factory sticker price on the car was $103,910. Selling because I've got my eye on a new 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 with a proper flat-6 engine, and I am worried that the next generation will be all-electric only. I've recently sold my '04 BMW 330i ZHP that I purchased new, and a '06 Mazda MX-5 Miata that was my track car for the last ~9 years. Pre-purchase inspection (PPI) welcome. Pictures/maintenance records available on request. Car is located in Wyomissing PA (zip 19610) near Reading PA: 1 hour from Philadelphia, 1 hour from Harrisburg, 2 hours from Baltimore, 2.5 hours from NYC. |
Great car! Good luck with the sale

Just sent a PM to you also.

Thanks Erik! I just PM'd you back.

Hi,
I'm very interested in your C2S, I'm new on this forum, please PM me and I'll reply with my cell #. I'm in WA state but I have family that live close to Philadelphia. Thanks. |
Hi 997.TWO, I can't PM you...I guess because you are brand new to RL. If you are a PCA member, you can find my contact info in my ad on the PCA classified site (search under zip 19610..it's currently the only ad from that zip). Otherwise, if you want me to contact you, you'll have to provide your info here...just obscure it so that a bot won't be able to read it.

Beautiful car. Love that you guys have a PCA plate in PA! Also, about 30,499 miles too many without clear corners but easily remedied with the next lucky owner :) GLWS!

997.TWO, email sent
skl2, I would normally agree about the clear corners on *most* colors, but I actually think Meteor Grey Metallic doesn't look bad with the yellow corner lamps. If I'm being honest about aesthetics, I considered replacing the Turbo 2 wheels with the original Turbo design from the 997.1-generation...those are one of my favorite Porsche wheel designs of all time! |
Just a heads-up that's I've taken a deposit on the sale of the car. So in a couple of weeks it'll likely have a new owner!
|
Beautiful car, not surprised it sold so quick!
|
Thanks ewc, I couldn't agree more! Sometimes I just go out to the garage to look at it. :icon107:

Great looking car. Wish I had seen this ad sooner.

Still available?
Hello,
I see you have had a few inquiries. Is it still up for sale? |
I am scheduled to complete the sale this Saturday (10/31) to a fellow Rennlist member (Hi Erik!).
Once that goes through, I'll be sure to update everyone here. Thanks for asking! |
Car is SOLD! Good luck Erik!
Car is officially sold as of this morning. If all goes to plan, the new owner will arrive home in Wisconsin tonight around midnight -- an epic "test drive" of 1,000 miles over 13+ hours.
I just wanted to thank everyone that reached out directly to inquire about the car. I had emails and PMs from at least 35 people, and phone conversations with probably 10 of you. I never sold anything on Rennlist or the PCA website before, but the experience was an unexpected joy! I just love this Porsche community. So, after much agonizing and consideration, I now have a 2021 Cayman GTS 4.0 on order. My first-ever new car with an automatic (PDK), after driving manuals all my life. At the start of the pandemic, my family "fleet" consisted of six cars, five of which were manual, and four of which were RWD. One was a 16-year old BMW 330i ZHP which I ordered new, and one was an '06 Miata that I owned for 10 years and was my track car and the car both daughters learned to drive in. Both those cars and the 911 are now gone. But I'm planning on keeping the Cayman GTS for a long time. Kudos to Porsche for putting the flat-6 back in the GTS, because I never would have considered it otherwise! Here's what it'll look like when it comes in early 2021: https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...9090e53349.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...c6e4d7b314.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...e75c923c92.jpg |
