FREE STUFF

I'm cleaning out the garage and have parts from cars/projects I no longer own. All parts available for local pickup near downtown Houston (Heights). I will not ship -- don't ask. Anything not claimed in a week goes in the trash.

PORSCHE STUFF

1) Used Dension 500SBT and associated bits -- It may work, it may not. It worked fine in my Cayenne, but seemed to have a trouble in my 911. I believe the source of the trouble was a voltage sag on my 911, not the Dension. YMMV

2) Used silver "S" badge from 997 Carrera S -- may fit other Porsches. Adds 50hp to anything it's attached to. Partially covered in black Plastidip, which is removable.

3) Locking gas cap -- "Federated" brand. I suspect this fits most Porsches and maybe other cars too. It was an impulse buy from RockAuto. Don't need it.


2008 CARRERA S STUFF (or similar 997.1s)

3) NIB Wahler 170 degree thermostat and housing. It's an extra. Recommended upgrade/replacement for 997s -- I noticed materially cooler temps with this.

4) New (not in box) air filter for 997 (non GT/Turbo). RockAuto sent me the wrong part but my kid destroyed the box before I could return it -- doesn't fit my Turbo.

5) Rear decklid from a blue Carrera 4S. Decklid only, no spoiler stuff, hinges, etc. Has shipping damage in upper left corner, but could be fixed.

2008 997 Turbo (and also 997 GT3s)

5.5) Lightly used rear L&R Sebro vented rotors. These rotors could use a coat of paint on the hubs to make them pretty, and a few miles of use would clean up the light corrosion on the rotor face, but mechanically, they are almost brand new (<5000 street miles). Would be perfect as is for a track car or clean them up and replace your worn rotors.

2006 CAYENNE TT STUFF (or similar Toureg/Q7s)

6) Two NIB Cayenne TTS rear bushings for the front lower control arms. These are the heavy duty/sport bushings that are supposed to last longer than the usual softer hydraulic bushings.

7) Used Stop Tech brake pads (F&R) for 350mm rotors. Filthy, but lots of life left. Offered for someone looking to save a buck or try out different pad compounds.

8) Used EBC Yellow brake pads (F&R) for 350mm rotors. Filthy, maybe 50% life left. Offered for someone looking to save a buck or try out different pad compounds.


RANDOM STUFF
9) 2007 Toyota 4Runner oil filter. Likely fits other Toyota's with the V6 engine.

10) 2006 Volvo XC90 oil filter. Fits the XC90 with the V8 engine -- may fit others models.

11) Volvo DICE clone -- This is one of those Chinese close OBD boxes . It did work for me many years ago. I don't know where the driver/software disk is, but I suspect you can find it online. I suspect it supports most Volvos with OBD up to around 2010.

12) VW headlight/fog lamp light switch (pn 5GG941431) -- not OEM. Quick search says Golf Mk7, but I suspect this fits many other VWs and Audis.

13) Unused sections of 3.5" OD AirRaid plastic intake piping and a few silicone elbows/bends. Great for building or mocking up a custom intake.
