Absolutely beautiful inside and out. I purchased this vehicle in November 2017 from the original owner who is a longtime PCA member and Porsche enthusiast, at the time it had just under 100k miles. During his ownership the following preventative maintenance was performed (all listed was within 2 years of my purchase): -Cardan shaft repaired with Vertex repair clamp at approximately 90k miles -Coolant pipes updated to aluminum -Front air suspension replaced -Drivetrain fluids flushed and replaced (front/rear diffs, transmission) -PPI was performed prior to my purchase which revealed worn sway bar end links in the front which were replaced when I got the car Here is a link to the original ad: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...nne-turbo.html During my ownership the following maintenance has been performed: Cabin filter Engine air filters (OEM) Coolant expansion tank cap Hatch and glass lid shocks Brake bulbs (when one bulb dies I replace them all as a preventative measure) Headlight (high and low beams) bulbs (they had grown dim over time, replaced which AUTHENTIC Phillips bulbs) Brake booster fault was fixed and cleared (vacuum lines were leaking, replaced with OEM) Coilpacks replaced Oil and filter serviced every 5k miles with M1 0W-40 New battery (Bosch) Secondary Air Pump (one failed, replaced both) New tires in last 5k miles (Continental TerrainContact A/T 255/55R-19) New Brake pads in December (Hawk Ceramic, rears were worn so replaced all 4 corners) plus new wear sensors Lower control arm replacement + alignment in December Valve cover gaskets Foglight bulbs upgraded to higher output authentic Phillips bulbs (within OEM specs) Seat heating fixed Coolant expansion tank replaced Wipers are new in last couple months Headlight dipped beam error fixed with new harnesses and headlight trays And many more items that I have had replaced/fixed over my ownership. I have made some relatively minor modifications to the vehicle and these include: -Painted roof rails in black (they were fading) -OEM black "Cayenne Turbo" script in rear -Plasti-dipped/vinyl trim in black around side windows -Chinese Android-based headunit with bluetooth/nav/rearview camera capable (no cutting of wires or anything permanent was done during install, it can easily be removed with no ill effects, plus I still have the stock headunit) -I will note here that the prior owner had a Prodigy brake controller installed Issues: -Headliner began to sag last year, I intended to have it recovered but after pinning it up, I just never got around to it. The pins are doing a good job holding it taut. -Upper control arms are beginning to squeak, no drivability concerns and I have new ones ready to go as noted below -Transfer case/front diff has the infamous "whine" around 70-75 mph. I was told not to worry about it until it worsened. It has not changed in volume or tone during my ownership and it is not perceptible unless you are listening for it. -Previous owner had to replace the cluster so the indicated mileage is incorrect. You need to add 61,800 to the indicated mileage which is currently at 58869. On the plus side, anyone who has seen the mileage assumed it was correct, given the shape the vehicle is in. Total is 120,669 -The vehicle was involved in a very minor fender bender in a parking lot last November which necessitated replacing the rear bumper cover and painting the rear hatch. All work was performed flawlessly and the added side benefit is that the rear of the car looks brand new (0 dings/dents/scratches) which is amazing for a car of its age. I have photos of the accident on request. Accessories included: Rubber winter mats Porsche OEM tow hitch cover Full service records from new in binder, as well as receipts for parts/service mentioned above Original window sticker Porsche Certificate of Authenticity Original books/manuals Original headunit and ALL Nav discs Factory mud flaps Factory touch-up paint Both keys as well as valet key Accessories available as package for additional $1000 (I will sell separately if new owner doesn't want them: Matching set of OEM 19" wheels with Blizzak DM-V2 tires (10k miles) and OEM Porsche crest center caps (no curb rash, great condition) New headlight trays (I don't remember why I even have these) Brake discs front and rear (used but have life in them) 2x Engine oil filters (Mann) Spare engine air filters Rear window wiper Turn signal light socket (front) New tie rod ends (front) New upper control arms Thats about it! Please message me for any more info. I may be missing some things but I think this covers it. The reason for the sale is changing priorities--ended up with a second car (930) that takes the majority of my attention and got something boring for the daily grind and commute. More photos and a couple short videos at this link: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/70s0qogrp...8affws9xa?dl=0 Additional info: -All cylinder bores were scoped in March '19 (I was having engine stumbling that was vacuum leak related, it was fixed by replacing a few hoses) and showed NO scoring. Only normal wear commensurate with mileage. -Rubber plugs have been removed from cowl area to avoid water build-up (last checked 2/19) -Roof drains cleared and checked 2/19 -Side sill drains checked 2/19 -Gaskets on roof rails replaced in 2018 -No squeaks or rattles--I am OCD about this and have tracked down all sources of extraneous noise in the vehicle. I have even gone so far as to have someone else drive the car with me in the back to pinpoint sources of noise so I could fix them. The car was tight when I got it but whenever panels are removed to repair something (hatch struts, for example) noises can pop up. |
