2011 or 2012 GTS. Help me end this maddening search.

There's only one thing I don't like about the GTS, and it's the fact that the vast majority of them came with center-lock wheels (which should never be on a street car, imho) vs. the optional 5-lug. I looked at one GTS that had the unicorn 5-lug wheels, but it was a black PDK car and I really wanted a non-black manual for my first 911. Ended up with a 2011 C2S, purchased from the 75-year-old original owner who only drove it around 3K miles per year. He only lives an hour away from me, so we've since become good friends.
Like others have suggested, a 997TT seems like a great (ahem) compromise if you can't scratch the GTS itch. That's the direction I'd go, and I'd even consider a PDK because redline comes up so fast in each gear in a manual. I'd also definitely want to do an exhaust mod on the TT, just because the turbos tend to mask some of that beautiful flat-6 music. And make mine a 997.2TT, since I really like the newer head-unit vs. the one with the integrated cellphone keypad and lack of Aux/iPod in the 997.1.
Good luck on the search!

Since it started out in the US, how easy would it be to get back here?
