2004 GT3

It is with great trepidation that I am posting my 2004 GT3 for sale! I haven't been driving at all on the street since getting a 997T and have entirely rationalized that if I'm only going to drive my own car on the track a few days per year, that it would be better if it were a Cup Car! $46k for just the car with OEM wheels and seats, $54k with Tequipment bar, GT3 Euro seats, Forgeline wheels, TR Motorsports forged wheels, 2 pc floating front rotors, spare pads, and 8 more miscellaneous wheels.

Car has pretty much everything done that a GT3 should have! Welded coolant lines, 2 pc lower control arms front and rear, toe links, Guard diff internals with Cup Bellville washers, KW Clubsport dampers, RS (single mass) flywheel and clutch, etc. Transmission was refreshed/inspected by Chris Cervelli at around 90-95k miles.

I bought this car from a good friend about 10 years ago and have loved every moment with it! I've known it was going for sale for a bit, but have hesitated to list as I'm REALLY going to miss it! Just cant justify, (as good as I am at justifying), keeping it AND the Cup!

Currently set up as a track toy. Really low, lots of camber, and ClubSport dampers. I hope it goes to someone who will continue to drive and enjoy it as it is meant to be!

Why so inexpensive?? 108k miles

Do you have more pictures, both of the exterior and interior?

At some point some owner will dump a whole lot of $$$$ into this very nice car.

Nice to see someone enjoyed and drove the car.

Good luck with the sale.

Photos

I keep the car in my enclosed trailer. Went out last week to take photos of the worst areas. I want to set realistic expectations for anyone interested!

Ding behind passenger headlight. Young son of former owner knocked over the stock exhaust that was leaning against the wall. (Dad’s fault, obviously!)

Attempting to show that there are rock chips on the front lid. (Should have done clear mask after it was painted!)

This is my fault! Minor indentations above driver door from lifting my big butt in and out of the car inside the trailer.

Hard to see, but trim on retractable drink holder has broken off. (Drink holder works fine)

Current mileage. Ignition key on, engine not running. There are no current warning lights.

This photo taken 2 weeks ago. I gave rides at Pueblo Motorsports Park for a charity event. The E36 M3, Euro Motor race car (not street-able) is for sale too!

Awesome ride

I’m right down the street, in the market, and new to Porsche-Ing. Could this be reverted to a street appropriate canyon carver without too much work? What would it take?

JR944 05-15-2019 03:29 PM

Absolutely! Put back to street alignment, raise the ride height, soften the shocks. I'd guess $400-500 to have a shop do that.

Trade for an '02 G500? You'll need something to haul the Cup!

That's a good thought, thanks! Already have Chevy 1 ton dually, 48' trailer, and a 20' trailer I got with the car.

+1 for a a stand-up seller. Joe helped with the sale of my 944 Turbo a few weeks ago and was an absolute pleasure to deal with...buy with confidence.

Man, I still keep coming back to this. If only I could daily it in Philadelphia. Ugh.

VadGTI 05-29-2019 12:07 AM

Wow. I'd give up my 993 for this, I think. A car with enough miles on it that one can enjoy it without being afraid of "investment value" dropping.
