Description:

I have finally decided to put my 996 GT3 up for sale. It is seal Gray, with a natural Brown leather interior. This build in 2004 was $123K.

I bought the car in 2016 in New York State, and imported it into Canada. This is a street legal track weapon with about 32,XXX miles on it.

With the intake, exhaust and engine tune detailed below, the car pulls about 380-390 HP at the wheels. The raw power and excitement of this car are truly awesome on the track.

The car has the following modifications:

1) Fabspeed Intake

2) CarGraphic 997 GT3 exhaust feeding into 997 GT3 center exhaust

3) 996 GT3 Cup rear bumper cover (aftermarket) to house 997 Exhaust

4) Porsche Motorsport LSD (1000 miles or less on it)

5) Light weight Flywheel (Brand and model unknown)

6) GT3 Cup Solid engine mounts

7) GT3 Cup shifter cables

8) ECU Flash (origin unknown)

9) New GT3 Cup splitter

10) Porsche TEquipment Roll bar with one set of Current 6-point harnesses

11) Revalved Porsche OEM shocks mated to Eibach 600F./850R. springs.

Since I bought the car, I have repaired everything that needs repairing. I have had most but not all the coolant lines pinned.

Also new on the car is:

1) Alternator (2017)

2) New Rack and Pinion and tie-rod ends (late 2016)

3) Front and rear OEM Lower Control Arms, with adjustable thrust arm bushings (2018)

4) Rebuilt Drop Links (2018)

5) A/C Rad (A/C blows cold and strong).

6) New battery (2019)

I currently have 996 GT3 Euro seats in it (sold separately), but I still have the OEM seats, which are in very good condition.

I also have optional sets of wheels, including OZ wheels in "track condition" and a set of BBS E28 Motorsport wheels that I just had refinished. The BBS wheels are currently listed on Rennlist.

The car has a New York State Rebuilt title. It was hit in the rear quarter panel in 2006, repaired and re-certified. When I brought it into Quebec, it went through our local process, one of the most stringent in North America.

The car aligns and corners balances perfectly. It currently has a track alignment on it but can be put back to stock easily. Last year, I had a local bodywork Guru go over the car, making sure everything looked OK, that all the gaps lined up and repainted any surface that needed it. The car now looks truly first rate. I have not yet put a protective film on it but will probably do so in the near future.

I am asking US $52,500. OBO for the car, which is far less than I have into it. I will include the 2 spare sets of wheels and GT3 euro seats at $57.5.K.

As this car was originally based in the USA, it can easily be reimported to the USA without repaying duties or other fees. I can help with this process, as I have imported several cars into Canada. The car is currently based in Montreal.

For the moment, I am keeping the GT3 seats with the car. I may sell separately later.

Do you know if it’s possible to register this car in NY?

Has the car been tracked? Do you have a recent over-rev report?

Yes, it is a gorgeous car. If not for the accident in 2006, this car would be in the $90K. range.

What a nice configuration. She must absolutely howl under load. FWIW - over-rev stats will help you sell it.

Yes, it has been tracked. It is a GT3. They are mainly track cars or garage queens.

I did have an overrev report at one time, showing a bunch of Type 1s and a few type 2s. More important are compression, leakdown and cam deviation numbers. These numbers are all good.

Seriously.

Nice build great car driven as intended.
