Excellent Condition Front Bumper Take-Off From Extremely Well Cared For Porsche 997.2.
This bumper was removed from my vehicle and replaced with an aero version. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it, I just wanted to go with a different look for my car. It was never repaired or painted. Has been fully wrapped with paint protection film since the car was new (3rd and current application was done in 2015).
As you can see you would just need to transfer your DRLs, wiring harness and headlight washers to install this bumper. The bumper has been in storage for 3 years, and I just opened the box to take the photos. Sorry that the bumper is quite dusty/dirty from storage, but can assure you the paint is very well cared for. I would recommend either replacing the PPF or just having it removed if you don't want to pay for replacement. There are a couple of spots that appear to have gotten blemished in storage, and I highlighted them in the respective photos. I will note them here:
- the license plate mount is included in the sale, but in photo i highlighted the mounting holes that would be covered by the plate mount
- the underside of the bumper has some scuffs in the PPF from driveways, and there are scratches on the underside not protected by PPF
- There is a noticeable blemish in the PPF to the right of the PS DRL. This happened in storage, and is the only reason why I suggest replacing the film (I was pissed when I saw it). As far as I can tell, just the film, not the paint underneath.
- There is one more on the lower edge just to the left of center. Barely noticeable because of the location, but this one has a slight indent. Likely no paint damage. This one is on me, not storage . . . road debris must have kicked up.
- There may be some other minor blemishes in the film, but the items noted above are the only thing I would consider damage to the film.
The bumper is packed in the box that the replacement bumper I used came in. Note that ideally the purchaser is local and can pickup, otherwise transport will need to be arranged via freight as the box is enormous, and I wouldn't trust it not to get damaged with regular methods. Shipping is additional, and I can work with the purchaser to arrange shipping at their expense. I have it in my storage facility by Yankee Stadium.
Box dimensions are 72 X 37.5 X 23. It doesn't weigh much, so will likely be priced at dimensional weight not actual weight.
