Looks like a DCT wheel. I have one on my 6-GT3 and have been very happy with it. GLWS.

You are correct. This wheel has the thicker grip and the color is black.
I have had 3 inquires so far but no payment test.
I don’t think this will last long.
Why would it. It’s a steal.

Brian, I will take it but before I do, how does the diameter compare with stock. The stock diameter has nice visibility for instrument cluster but I have wanted to find something beefier on my 996.

It does reduce your cluster visibility. Especially for the gauges on the left/right of the cluster. I don't think you could thicken the stock wheel much without cutting off some visibility. I have gotten used to it and it does not bother me at all. I am 5'8" tall with pretty short legs. If I were taller with longer arms and legs and sat back further in the car it would probably be less obstructive.

That said it's a very nice wheel. What DCT does is takes a Porsche core wheel and then modifies it with a different outer ring. This way you retain the stock airbag and center section of the wheel. IMO the DCT is the single nicest airbag wheel out there for the 996. A nice upgrade with modern thicker grip but retaining the stock look unlike most of the other options out there.
