Is there an issue with GT4 gearboxes?

Not sure if this is a joke or what (I will respectfully refrain from calling you a troll, as others might), but check out this well-run thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/gt4/9543...ailure-92.html.

It's only for cars built after (about) January 2016 and it's really not a big deal. Biggest downside is not having your car for a bit. Shouldn't deter anyone from buying a GT4.

No, not a joke and I'm not trolling. I don't go on the GT4 sub forum and wasn't aware there were transmission issues. Was recently considering purchasing a GT4 and have been nosing around the classifieds. Thanks for the info.

All GT4's from 11/30/15 to 9/27/16 need replacement transmissions from dealership

This is a really nice car and optioned about exactly how I would build one.
