Clear bra has protected front end and front panel of bra was replaced less than a year ago. A few nicks commensurate with age. Three noted flaws. Two scratches on driver's door. One is on the door jamb under door latch (probably from a key when getting out of the car) and one mid door next to the handle. Also, a scratch at rocker panel on driver's side just ahead of the rear wheel. All were present when car was purchased. Interior is excellent with little to no wear. Leather is immaculate and treated frequently. The updated steering wheel or factory wheel is available. Please review pics. There is a pic of each wheel installed. Car is tight and handles incredibly well. Steering is light and communicative as a 911 should be. Progressive springs ride close to factory, but handling is much improved. Compared to my previous Boxster S with H&R springs the ride of the 996 is predictable and comfortable without being harsh. I have built this 996 to be fun and reliable. No expense has been spared. I thought I would keep the car forever, but I am out of garage space and it's time to find her a new home. Enjoy the pics. Please PM me with questions. $29,900.00 Offers. Brad |
so tempting...

I have seen and driven this car. It's every bit as nice as the seller claims.

I am interested in what your thoughts on the FSD are vs. the Koni Sport?

The Boxster was much lower on the HR springs and the Bilsteins were firmer. The FSD is more compliant and works well with the progressive eibach springs. The set up in the Boxster let you know the suspension was hard mounted. The 996 is far less jarring. The Boxster was a little too hard for the street with the HR and Bilsteins. In combination with the eibach springs the FSD is a tight, comfortable street set up. It offers a much higher WAF. Brad |
I have to ask, why didn’t you do the IMS when you did the clutch/RMS? |

The FSD was recommended as a package with the eibach bars and springs. The only experience I have with koni sports is on an old bmw. The difference between the FSD and the bilstein/HR set up I had on my Boxster is pretty stark.

Glad to help. Feel free to pm me if you have any other questions.

Forgot to add that a billet short shift from Agency Power was also added to the car. Thanks for looking. Feel free to ask questions. This is a well optioned, nicely upgraded and well maintained lower mileage 996.

Very interested in Meridian MS
Just curious, has the IMS bearing been replaced? I am very interested Give me a call when you have a chance. Thanks Scott Carmichael 601-917-1600

It was good talking with you Scott. To answer your question here on the forum, yes the ims has been addressed and replaced. The rms and ims were replaced when the DOF was added. The magnetic drain plug is always clear. I think the DOF is proving to be the long term solution to ims fears.

All PM's have been replied to... Thanks for the interest.

It's a new year . Now that the holidays are over I thought I would drop the price some to make it more tempting. Drove her yesterday... Hoping she finds a new owner that will spend more time with her. Price lowered 2k.
