What prompted the transmission replacement?

Are the miles similarly divided 70/30 track/street use?

The transmission was replaced because the vehicle's third gear failed - this is a common issue with GT4s and is discussed in depth here: https://rennlist.com/forums/gt4/9543...n-failure.html

I would say the miles are closer to 70% street and 30% Track - I would drive to many tracks that were 6-8 hours away and 500-700 miles each way.
