Indeed, fingers crossed Though if we don't get an official unveil by say April or May, I'd be a little skeptical that deliveries will happen before EOY 2019. My sources tell me they're pushing hard to get first US deliveries by then, but didn't seem like a massively high level of confidence. I'm guessing most orders won't start arriving until early 2020.

It’ll be interesting to see when the Porsche marketing machine starts to crank up for the Taycan. They got the other model releases out of the way in 2018 and devoted the fall to the 992, which clears the deck for insane marketing on the Taycan and Cross Turismo. I would presume that release of the car coincides with the factory being completed and all the approvals granted to start series production, so hopefully they can get the cars to US shores before end of 2019 — hopefully giving a few of us have extremely happy holidays.
