This looks so good, they may be shooting themselves in the foot by showing it so much if the production version looks too different. It just sets the expectations very high. Placing my (refundable) deposit later today.

Honestly I think that concept car may be one of the best looking car designs of all time. Much like the 911, it is a perfectly proportioned, wonderfully organic design that looks good from any angle.

If the production version doesn’t resemble this very closely, it will be a massive disappointment IMHO.

1) transform what is considered beautiful in the industry
2) Transform brand perception
3) lead Porsche and the industry into the electric age
If they deviate and deliver the Panamera-mule, which frankly is a backward step.

In one of the photos, showing off the rear, you can see “XF15 - Arienne” where the license plate holder is located. I wonder what that’s code for and if the other cars have this. I’ve heard conflicting reports about the number of Mission E concept cars built and wonder if they’ve actually built more than one. With it being this publicly visible, Porsche will be really shooting themselves in the foot if the Taycan looks dramatically different.

I really really hope it looks good - if it's bland well then EV's will be set back 5 years again…{sigh}

You wonder how much longer they can continue to trot out the 2015 design study.
The latest Nurburgring test pic show the same test mule.....that I will bet anyone a dinner is the 'fixed' design......as Blume had said.
