Tesla existential threat?

Well that Joe Rogan interview went swimmingly.
The board has to replace him. Probably too late to save them from lawsuits now though.
Cant wait for that neurolink thing he said he’s months away from releasing...

I wonder if the board finally thinks this is one toke over the line.

I wonder if his wacky behavior lately is actually by design, setting up a defense against the civil lawsuits over the funding secured fiasco based upon the premise that he's an outlandish guy, always has been, always will be, and that he's not responsible if people overreact/misinterpret his comments about the company. Either that or he really doesn't have the maturity to be a public company CEO.

No he's gearing up for a 'joint' venture.

Pretty bad, if true...

That’s old news. Tesla ditched the reservation system on the high dollar Model 3s in July. The folks on the list want the mythical $35k version.

17,800 TM3 sales August 2018.
Ford F series 81,839 up 6.27% (or ~5,000 units).
Ram 49,912 up 32.72% (or ~ 13,000 units).
Model X 1,400 down 30% (or down ~ 600 units).
Model S 2,500 up 4.17% (or ~100 units).
The really big movers in volume sales (in terms of % increased sales) are the BMW X3, VW Tiguan and Nissan Murano (all greater than 95% increase in sales MoM from strong bases).
The general passenger car market (inc coupe/hatch backs etc) got massacred - big falls across the board (MoM in percentage terms).
The big movers were the Kia Optima, Audi A4, Kia Rio and Ford Mustang (all up over 35% MoM)
Looks like the demand side wants trucks, budget SUVs and budget sedans.
