This is what we run on the endurance boxster. Works very well for us, as we needed a lot less front bias, esp with street tires.

35 Hrs??? Haha. That's 1 1/2 weekends for us. 6 hr practice and 2 8-9 hr enduros per weekend.

I'm fascinated by this brake pad chart. Am I reading it right?

If, for instance, one pad has an "8" for Pad Wear, and another pad has a "7" does that mean the first pad will wear MORE or LESS than the second pad?

Same thing for Disk Wear. Does the pad with the HIGHER number wear the disk MORE or LESS?

Given the other data points on those charts, I'd say the larger the number the more you get out of that characteristic. Closer to 10 equals HIGHER bite, HIGHER heat conductivity, HIGHER disc wear, and HIGHER pad wear, etc. But agreed, that does look confusing.

I dont run enduro's, that is true. But I do run every practice session back to back and normally do a test and tune day the day before a club race if available. My car got 42 hours on it this year.

Yes it is confusing particularly on the wear categories. A higher number for those categories will mean the pad is better in that area. So a pad with 10 on pad wear will wear better than a pad listed at 8. A pad listed as 9 on disc wear will be less agressive on the disc than a pad listed at 8.

So disregard my thoughts

i run PFC08s front and rear. Between NASA, PCA and WRL the car had just over 82 hours of race time this year. Another 50+ hours testing/practice.

4 sets of pads and 3 sets rotors for the year.

Wow incredible amount of seat time - very envious you must be quick as hell

That is more time than I have been on the track my entire life

notice I said car - not me. 68 hours was from endurance racing with WRL (I drove about 20 of those hours). And some of the testing was with co-drivers.
I'm decent but there are many guys much faster than I. I'm getting faster though - made some good progress with a coach this year - need to do that again.

Oh yeah no doubt. Sub 1 minute is impressive for any car at LRP but magical for a SPB. I have a feeling you'll nab it soon.

Hey Jason - anyone running RST3's all around in their SPB? I've been running RS29 yellows in front and RS14 blacks in the rear. Sounds like the RST3 is a blend of both? What are your thoughts?

Thx,
Tim

Not that I recall but a good bit of our Pagid sales are online so I don't always see what's on each order. The RST3 may be a bit aggressive on the front at least compared to the RS29. I'd think of the RST3 as a improved RS14. I'd try RS29 front and RST3 rear on your next go around.

If I am reading your reference correctly, that is for Stock Class cars. Not Spec
