JRZ shock change in SPB

This looks like a nice solution to the PSS9 shortage. Nice single adjustable damper with similar performance to the PSS9 but with modern shock technology, decent price, available soon, in sets or single units (better than Bilstein), can use existing springs and mount points, and a contingency program as a bonus. This should definitely help the class move forward and grow.

I hear rumours that these MCS shocks are MUCH better than the pss9 and that SPB racers are doing the switch in droves. Is this true or are shops and MCS makers just drumming up business due to this rule change? Feels retarded to dump perfectly fine and almost new pss9 shocks.

What does “more consistent” mean? How are they better? Are they more adjustible? I meant ordering them in droves (not have them yet), or at least that’s what I was meant to believe.

It would be a big pity if they were a noticeable improvement.
If everyone needs to buy new shocks anyway to stay competitive, it would make a lot more sense to just get an inexpensive shock with noticeably better performance for similar-to-slightly-more money. (Maybe less than $4k)
