Default Roof Net - Do all/most SPB use them?

Hi all,
Trying to gauge interest in the SPB roof nets. We've had a couple customers ask for them recently so I'm wondering if this is a product we should carry more in inventory or just get one-off or a couple here and there. The main one we've sold is made by Teamtech, but we also work with another company that makes custom SFI netting (window nets and such) that can make it just as well and may be cheaper than the Teamtech ones. So we're wondering if we should have them make a run of them.

Do all of you SPB racers use roof nets? Does anyone need one soon?

Thanks

I use the net and will probably never have to replace it.

Currently restraints - but likely a net for the coming season.

Last race I went around and asked a bunch of people on this point and almost everyone had the net. The general consensus was that the net is relatively cheap and installs easily. It doesn't impact access to the interior with the roof off either (it's just over the driver). [I was actually the only one that had arm restraints.]

Personally, I don't mind the restrains and will continue to use them. SCCA doesn't require them, so I only need them with PCA.

I just had mine made by IO Port racing supplies. He did an outstanding job. Much better quality and safer than the TeamTech net. Contact Ken

This. I just don't get what the problem with arm restraints is.

Fair...but some people don't like the feel of the arm restraints...

So for all those that DO want the net, we just got a supply of them in so we can help you out, or you can just order online.

I just looked at the rule book;
roof nets or arm restraints are for cars with an aftermarket roof. Those running w a factory hardtop don't need either.

Correct. I guess a lot of SPB cars have aftermarket roofs...

Stock hard top is heavy, so most of us go with aftermarket
