Default WTB: SPB rear wheels

I'm looking for a pair of SPB-legal stock rear wheels, in decent (race-able) shape. Size is 17" x 8.5", with 48-50 mm offset.

Please let me know what you have and what you want for them. I'm in zip 20902, so please include the cost of shipping.

Thanks!

P.S. same ad is cross-posted here.

I'll sell you a set of rear wheels for $35K and will throw in an SPB race car for free.

Thank you for the generous offer, but I already have a car. Just need an extra pair of rear wheels so I can have a staggered rain set.

Since the Jongbloed wheels are legal, that's the price ceiling -- if I can't get a decent pair of used for less than new ones, I'll just order new ones.

Many/most of us looking for wheels have resorted to craigslist and eBay. It appears that SPB folks hold their 8.5" wheels forever

I have a two full sets of stock Boxster wheels that do not run true. They are not severely bent, just enough that I don't feel they can be used on the track.

I know that I can have them straightened, but I worry that doing so will compromise integrity.

Can those of you with more experience weigh in with your thoughts?

TIA

I found several on http://car-part.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi got 4 matching 8.5's last year for <$500 delivered.

You might have to make a few phone calls and ask for an actual picture if you want them to match, but I see them "reasonably" (and unreasonably) priced on there all the time.
