I have a spec Boxster running a Fabspeed competition exhaust and I will doing some events that have noise level requirements. Does anyone know what the db output would be for this setup and at what distance?

I have the same setup. I can register 104db without the turn away tips at TH. No idea about distance. I was at Laguna this week on a 105db day and had no issues.

Thank You- that's the info I was looking for. Here in the North East its getting hard to make any noise at the track. I'm racing in a few weeks with SCCA and sound is 99 db at side of the track, guess I'll stick my stock exhaust in the trailer... I'll try down turn pipes

Got tagged twice at Laguna yesterday with 103 db with the turn away tips turned to the infield away from the sound booth. The Fabspeed tips are not adequate at Laguna for a race, you can get black flagged if you are over and that pulls you out of the event.
