Optimal ride height?

I have a fully track prepped boxster and will be Installing new dampers and springs this month. Is there an optimal setting for front & rear ride height? or at least a good starting point and or rake?

Rake at 0 degrees is a good staring point, especially for open diff.

If you have an LSD you can go from 0 to +0.5 deg rake.

There`s a minimum allowable ride height for SPB but I can give you a hint and say not optimal re. bump steer.

If you aren't running in SPB I would strongly suggest aftermarket rear control arms with bump steer shims. If you have the budget do the same for front outer tie rods. Then you can go `low` and adjust for bump properly.

Thanks Matt, I do have an lsd and gt3 lower control arms. I also lifted the rack to help with bump steer up front. Where do you shim the rear for bump?

Rear toe control arms with bump adjustment, i.e.:
