2005 tts cab and tip
My 996 has Kevin's tune and catless, that's it....stock otherwise. A creampuff driven 90% by wife with kids.
I drive a 2013 Shelby GT500. Stock with drag radials only. A 662 hp from factory freight-train.
Did some 40mph pulls on a vacant highway over and over and the 996 not only beat the GT500 but repeatedly annihilated it almost like it was standing still.
How is this possible? Anyone wanna buy a nice GT500?
(GT 500 at dealer now/checking it out....really)
thanks
Joe

Three Wheelin'
Tune and catless makes huge difference haha
Porsche always good at doing more with less. Efficient speed. Very impressive that it pulls on GT500, not a slow car...

GT500 is a beast but they can't put the power down like the 996 can... traction issues. The magazine times they get in them are a FAR cry from the real world with non-professional drivers. (or I'm an idiot and your car has the flu)

What does the ford weigh?

It happens to the Ford at the track too, go to 2:40:
Not sure what year the one in my video is, but it had engine mods, suspension mods, cage, was running Torco and NT-01's.
Our cars are capable beyond what many expect from something 17 years old.
Especially after work with Kevin at UMW

Shelby weighs 3800 lbs
Went out again. Trying to make sense of this. This time I was driving the Shelby No clear winner dead even. Guess im done "breakin the law"
Shelby was at dealer for state inspection, no codes so she's not sick.... What is "sick" is this 996 TTS more than holding its own in this new climate of modern ultra high hp supercharged V-8's
.......and from a dig? Fogettabout it /all Porsche.

There are few cars around that can stick with a flashed 996TT.
Imagine how how ridiculous they become with new turbos at1.3bar or more.
Im not surprised with your outcome. It's just math. These cars can make big power and deliver it well.
