Just got the bill for my 6,000 track miles maintenance visit - it is around $5,000. About what I expected, but thought others might be interested. Around $1,300 in labor and the balance is parts.

I did all for $3K 12,000 miles service and that was a $1200 over charger?
Plugs, all PDK and motors oils, all filters at full Porsche dealer prices.

Excl. pads and rotors.

Its not on the attachments below but the implementation of the 15 pages of track prep was another $500 or so..

This is the maintenance for 6,000 track miles, not cumulative miles. It includes replacing all the wheel nuts and locks, along with the rear hubs. My car has 16,000 total miles. I do most the regular maintenance myself, but this needs to be done by the dealer.

I've serviced the CL, probably due for the bolts, rear wheel hubs and bearings.
I'll start working on pricing for all 4 corners.

Thanks Rich. Congrats on being the first on here to run 6000 track miles in the 991.1 GT3 (that Im aware of). That's around 40 track days by my calculations.

On the subject of CL. This generation seem to be without issue? I dont think Ive read a single post on any forum about issues with the CL. Actually after having a nail on the way to a track day at the other end of teh country recently and stopping at a road side tyre show to remove and plug (I had my own 400lbft wrench on board) I was surprised at how easy and quick it was for us to get the car off the car, de beaded, plugged and back on the car. Granted there were two of us (making holding the brake pedal easy) but this was first time for the shop and myself and I just read out the manual pages Id printed off and it all went bery smoothly. The who process including the plug and de beading took 35 mins.

I know alot of folk are putting "5 lug wheels" on their wish list for the 991.2 GT3 and I think many of those are folk that dont own the current generation GT3/RS, but quite honestly the CL is not a show stopper for these cars any longer like it may have been for some in the past...

Now Im off to touch some wood!

It depends on what you do with the car. If you have a need to take the wheels off at home, with a jack, it's really a terrible experience.

With a pedal lock, I changed all 4 wheels off the ground and retorqued in 12 minutes.

no big deal but if you don't have a second set of track wheels I wouldn't even bother buying the tools.. they only come off for new tires pads and rotors and the shop does that now that I'm lazy.

That's impressive. My record for a track side change is 30 minutes by myself. Thought I was killing it! Think I've changed the wheels about 20 times now using jack stands, which are great. Would love to have a lift at home, but I'm moving to a condo that has a garage with low ceilings, so no go.

Nice to see you putting that amount of Track miles on Rich!! Did you happen to chat with the tech at all? How was the CL holding up? Anything unusual found?

I got to about 6K track miles in about a year, which was about a year ago, but haven't done nearly as many track days this year. I feel quite bonded with the car at this point, and really have no yearning to track anything else.
