Default Official Porsche "Oil Change Sheet"?

Does anyone have a copy of the official checklist id'd as PNA 000 162 LC "Oil Change Sheet"? Curious as to what it specifies. Based on discussions on the various fora, it looks like the dealers are, ahem, "inconsistent" about a simple oil service.

Hi Afshin,
I already have the Porsche PNA documents on the overall 20K/2yr and 40K/4yr service checklists. I was looking for the one Porsche document solely on the oil change service itself - offline, someone has offered me a copy just now, so I am awaiting that. It is amazing what sort of details are available in the "PNA 000 162 xx" documents.

Default Still looking for Oil Change Sheet

False alarm - what I received was a copy of the Cayenne 20K/2Yr Checklist. So, I am still looking for the mystery Porsche document. What I am seeking is the document whose reference is buried in a parenthesis in the middle of the standard Porsche Checklists - parenthetically called out in "see separate Oil Change Sheet, PNA 000 162 xx".

I'm surprised that there is not more awareness/interest in the PNA 000 162 documents. I've done a ton of searching and found very few references. There is such a document for each separate Porsche model (with a different "xx" code in the PNA identifier), and each specifies in full detail every step that defines the dealer's SOP in servicing the model. Even the numeric Labor Operation codes are called out.

This is an old post I know, but no responses yet..

If I understand OP correctly you would like to see what that sheet refers to, as that's all it does.

This is taken from the labor operation the oil change sheet specifies(Panamera used as example only):
General information
Panamera 3.6 V6
B markets
C markets
Includes
***117 Engine oil drain and fill
***219 Cover front remove and reinstall
***819 Support f front axle remove and reinstall
***019 Oil filter remove and reinstall
Without
***101 Engine oil check
This is what Porsche would pay a tech to do through the pre-paid maintenance plan. We, of course, top off fluids, inspect the entire vehicle and adjust tire pressure.

I hope this helps.

I'd love to know how many Porsche mechanics actually use this:

Klüber Syntheso Glep (Part No. 000.043.204.68).

Indeed. Found it here, in the Aftersales manual:

page 0.22. Not very informative!

Jason do you have the same for the 991.1 911?

Can you get your hands on at least a 2014, so the Cayman is included? A 2016 would be even better. Thx.

sorry, I drive a 911 that's also due for an oil change and just happened on that by pure google luck, took a while to find. I don't work for Porsche or anything 😂

Bingo! You found an actual copy of the long mysterious "PNA 000 162 LC" Oil Change Service Checklist, and it turns out to be a total nothing-burger. Hilarious, the joke's on me. But that AfterSales Training manual you found is a very interesting document. Thanks!

My pleasure, I was looking for it also after finding the Maintenance checklists. My 2012 991 C2S had a full service one year (and 10,000 miles) ago and the oil service reminder came up last week saying 'Oil service due in 8 days/9800 miles'.

I'm in the UK (UK car) and my service manual states oil changes are only needed every 2 years or 20 000 miles i.e. with each full and intermediate service. So I was confused as to why the oil service reminder came up when it was done 1 year/10000 miles ago (it also seemed confused, stating to do it in 8 days/9800 miles when I do 10k miles a year).

Do your NA manuals say the same thing, 2yr/20k mile intervals between oil changes or is that just in the EU/UK? There is no mention of a 10k interval for us but that's clearly on your NA checklists for the same car & engine so could this be proof of marketing/regulations affecting service recommendations? Would love to find EU/GB versions of the checklists and training document but they are nowhere online far as I can see :/

There's no way I'd wait 20K miles on a direct-injected car. It's just too much; they contaminate the oil way more, depleting the additive package quicker. It used to be that much before DI though. If you want to skimp on oil, start doing oil analysis to determine the safest maximum interval. But with the money spent on oil labs, use it on oil and no need to send anything. If you DIY, it's less than 100 bucks. For most us, it's yearly, and with a lot less than 10K miles. Good luck.

thanks, yes I gathered as much and have booked it in. Just a little concerned about why Porsche don't mention the 10k interval in their uk docs, hence putting our engines at risk of damage or at least premature deterioration it seems! I found Porsche docs on the net from the Middle East even which also suggest a 10k interval for the 991. Although to be fair my oil change reminder in the dash did pop up at this time despite the manuals not mentioning it.
