Default Ultimate Motorwerks GT3RS/Turbo 4 Liter Clutch Kit $2,445.00

I have offered the factory RS lightweight flywheel kit for many years. I think that it's a GREAT clutch kit for the turbo. The main "knock" was that is did rattle at idle. For some folks this was an issue. I always used the GT3R double spring (Blue) sprung clutch disk. Sachs has since stopped manufacturing the blue spring disk and has replaced it with a new version. With that said, the GT3RS 4.0 is available now. This disk is improved and will REDUCE the chatter at idle.

When fitted on our turbo, the engine Rev's like no tomorrow, not as good as the GT3 but not far behind. Over the years many have commented that it feels like you "gained" 30 HP over the stock dual mass system.

Parts list: RS 964 flywheel, Sachs Race Engineering 764 pressure plate, Genuine Porsche GT3RS 4.0 liter clutch disk, Ring Gear, Pilot bearing, Guide tube, Throw out bearing, Flywheel bolts, Pressure plate bolts AND T/O bearing Fork bushings and seals. This kit is IN stock..

This kit is up and running in a few customer cars right now. They might chime in.

I have your previous version kit on my X50, along wit a GT2 clutch slave. It chatters like crazy.
I couldn't care less. It's an absolute joy to drive.

It's still a current version.. This clutch kit has the 4.0 liter disk.. I can sell the LWFW kit with more options and price-points...

Blockhed, the 1098 is a rigid non-sprung clutch disk. I don't like running them with a single mass flywheel. The main reason is that all the "shock" is transferred into the gearbox, with the mainshaft absorbing the energy.

The 1098 disk will handle 55Nm more torque vs the sprung disk. And that is questioned when folks do 1/4 mile drag launches. The organic/metal lining is similar among the race discs RS/4.0/rigid. The lining gets hot and burns up.

I prefer sprung disks for the street/road course driving.

Nicely packaged from UMW to my door, with installation instructions and inventory checklist. I really appreciate the attention to detail Kevin and his family provide.

The coolant pipe kit in the photo is from Torque Solutions

drh, Thanks for the kind words.. It's a family affair. I inspect every flywheel, and pressure plate.. My son looks thru all the bolts and inspects all the other components>>if there are any problem items I get the last QC.. My wife cuts the foam and packages all the components. Tossing them in a box with bubble wrap will be a failure ready to happen.

blockhed, I sent you a PM. Thanks..

Kevin, Sunset is having the coolant pipes welded this week and should be putting the car back together next week. I gave the instructions for torquing the flywheel to the mechanic and he appeared familiar with your instructions.
