I received an email sent from a new member about my WTB parts. User has no post count, joined today, and honestly it looks fishy to me.

I got the same thing from Pelican as well.

Is there a way to limit/restrict new users to only posting on threads until they reach a certain count or something similar?

He might have found your part through a google search and joined in order to contact you.


The IP address looks legit. It's not the typical spam Chinese, Indian, etc location.

This is a US address.

In any case if you feel uncomfortable with the transaction do not proceed.
