Default Stoptech STR Kit for 2005-2010 C2S

Category: Brakes
Price (no $ sign please): $3000
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (select ONLY those which apply): 997
Location (Region): SouthEast
Item Condition: Used

Stoptech STR Kit

-Fronts: 380x32mm 6 Piston. The front rotors were replaced and have 2 DE events on them

-Rears: 332x32mm 4 Piston. The rears have 8 DE days.

-No cracks! Great condition! No grooves!

-No front pads, rear pads are Performance Friction PFC01. The rear pads are 11mm without the bracket so plenty of life left.

If you track your car your standard Porsche brakes may not be enough, especially if you're running r-compound tires or slicks. STR kit is much more powerful than standard brakes and provides shorter stopping distance. The standard brakes start fading after a while, to prevent this the STR kit is an amazing replacement. These brakes do not fade or flex, keep the constant pedal feel.

The kit cost me well over $7k with sales tax. My price for the Front and Rear kit is $3,000. Shipping not included.

Please PM me for any questions.

I'm using the STR kit that came with the GT3. I have 2 sets of STR brakes:

-The one I purchased for my old C2S (removed it before I sold the car), the one I'm offering to sell

-The one that came with GT3

Thanks bud!

I'll be investing this money on tires and some pro coaching, so it's for a good cause

Do you lose the rear parking break and therefore have to use the Stoptech parking brake caliper? I have a 2007 C4S and it looks like they'll fit. Can you comment?

TJ, this kit retains parking break capability. Before putting the kit for sale I contacted Stoptech to ask them about fitment. Though the rears will fit a C4S without issue the fronts may need some modification.

I don't know any particular details whether it will fit with a minor modification but you can ask Erik from Stoptech. Here is his e-mail address: erik@stoptech.com

And here are the part numbers for the brakes:

83.789.6800.R1
83.781.0046.R1
