991 Carrera T - Ownership Thread
Back in January of 2024, I took delivery of my 2019 Carrera T. Over the past 2 years, I've been enjoying the car, taking it to local events, and just having a blast driving it and reflecting on getting to this point in my life. It's really a dream come true to finally have a 911. I've had a Porsche before this, but there's just something symbolic about finally owning a 911. I sought this car with the 'just-right' spec for quite some time before I finally pulled the trigger, because I had a weird inexplicable hunch it'd be a car I'd hold onto. 2 years in with the car - completely stock - it just keeps sinking its teeth further and further into me, to the point where I feel like it might just become a lifer.
I originally thought I'd own this for a while before eventually graduating to a 991.2 GT3, but I'm not sure I even care for that anymore. This car, for all intents and purposes, is like a baby GT2. If I were to close my eyes and someone were to describe the car to me - RWD, manual, twin turbo, 911 slick top with LWBS and lightweight glass - that's likely what I would guess it is. It ticks every single box that 5 year old me cared about when he dreamt about owning a Porsche other than being air-cooled, but this 3.0 is pretty sweet in its own right. The whole car is just so special to me.
The car came with a set of Agate Grey vinyl stripes installed by the PO, which are still on the car. I'm thinking I'm going to have them removed when I take the car to the detailer next, and then have the PPF reapplied. I've never been a big fan of stripes, but I've let it slide for a bit with this car because it didn't feel too intrusive.
For now - some media from the past 2 years. All iPhone mostly.
My dSLR took a crap on me and I lost inspiration to shoot a while back - but, I've finally upgraded to a full-frame mirrorless recently, so i'm looking forward to snapping some proper photos in a cool spot soon.

Also great that you have left it stock and continue to enjoy to it's fullest. The nice thing is that it's not too difficult to significantly improve the driving experience with these cars should you ever want or feel the need to extend the limits of it's performance, or simply make you feel even more connected to the car and road beneath you.. But as the old saying goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. These cars as they come are indeed engineering masterpieces.

Stock has been amazing, but it's about to change pretty rapidly.
I have been collecting parts since early in my ownership, but like you said small enhancements to the overall experience and 100% bolt on and reversible. I'll also be holding onto all the stock parts.
