FYI, if you used this on your car but even after this it shows no vin used, there seem to be a batch of these cables that will never use any VIN and therefore is like the more expensive version without limited VINs. Got also one from this batch

What you wrote just made me realize..I only noticed 3 VIN limits because I didn't have to register my VIN or anything. Maybe that's why..

as far as I know yes, at least also with my unlimited "enthusiast" version, so who ever this buys in my opinion this is a bargain!
